A perfect early fall day in New England set the tone for documenting this court transformation, that was as much about community as it was about the space itself.
We approached the project with a hybrid visual style, pairing 35mm candid photography with slow-motion, gimbal-based FX6 footage to create something that felt both immediate and cinematic. The 35mm work captured the spontaneity, history and emotion of the day, while the motion approach gave the transformation a sense of weight and presence.
Focusing on both the history of the park and its reintroduction to the community, we documented not just the finished court, but the energy around it. People showing up, celebrating, and reconnecting with the space.
The result is a piece that balances documentation with tone, capturing a moment of change in a way that feels natural, elevated, and rooted in the community it was built for.
