Served as Director of Photography on the launch campaign for Flight House Fitness, a brand-new 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art training facility in Charlestown, MA. Working alongside my Producer and AC/Grip, we handled every stage of the production from creative development and pre-production through production, editing, color grading, and final delivery in close collaboration with the Flight House team.
The visual approach centered around fluid, cinematic camera movement to showcase the scale, architecture, and energy of the space. Principal photography was captured in Cinema DCI 4K on a Sony FX6 paired with cinema prime glass, utilizing a Gimbal Rig, Easyrig, and Rickshaw to achieve long, stabilized tracking shots throughout the facility. The production was complemented with DJI Inspire aerial cinematography flown by Holler, capturing the Boston skyline and establishing the gym's location within the city.
To accommodate the client's operating schedule, the entire production was filmed overnight, allowing the facility to remain fully open during business hours without disrupting members or staff. It's a great example of the collaborative approach we bring to every project adapting our production schedule and workflow around a client's needs while still delivering a polished, cinematic final product. Plus there’s nothing wrong with 3am Naco Taco’s…
Designed as a hero brand film, the final campaign was delivered across web, social, and digital marketing platforms, balancing architectural storytelling with dynamic camera movement to create an immersive introduction to one of Boston's newest premier fitness destinations.
